Do you remember your dreams?

I often have weird dreams that are forgotten within seconds of my waking up. The ones I remember best are the recurring ones, things like the fever dreams I get when I'm sick. I'll dream that I'm stuck searching for somebody or something in a crowd and people are just closing in around me. I'll wake up in a sweat and feeling very anxious. That happened this last weekend after I got my COVID and flu shots.

Occasionally I'll remember amusing dreams, and some of them are arguably ABDL-related. Perhaps the best example is one I had about two years ago. I wrote about it then as well. I was basically in Elmo's Christmas Countdown, the holiday special. Sesame Street was suddenly hit with a winter storm and we were all snowed in. We found cover in a school gymnasium, and Stiller the Elf, voiced by Ben Stiller, was walking around handing out blankets and other supplies. I took one and went to sleep on the floor, and that's basically when I woke up. Wife thought it was hilarious. I hadn't watched that show in years, but when our kids were little we watched it all the time.

I don't unless its a nightmare. I was having recurring ones. About a large woman sitting on me. And suffocating me. I put a dead bolt on our bedroom door then. The nightmare stopped.
😲 Yeah, that would terrify me too! 🤣 Sorry i know it's not funny.

Yes, seems like your mind is very active during your dreaming phase, also seems you are having more Lucid dreams.(y):giggle:
Lucid dreams are when your mind kind of only half goes to sleep that's why you can interact with them and percieve them that way. Your mind interprets them as real sensory input.

When I was a bedwetter it was often when dreaming I was using the Toilet! These days I have some weird dreams, often featuring things from my past. I do on occasions fall asleep with the TV on and dream I am part of what I was watching. I do hate it when you get to the part in a dream when you are about to win something or find out about something and suddenly wake up.
I had this dream were I won a million dollars in a casino, then 2 seconds later I woke up.
I was pissed. HAHA

I dream a lot but most times I only really remember more lucid ones and unfortunately for me those are usually more like nightmares but almost all my dreams take me at least partially into little space. I was almost diagnosed for night terror disorder once.

I keep a dream journal. that's how i'm able to recall mine when i have them.

I stick to reccording the good ones, helps cheer me up when I'm unhappy. Also, I've kind of learned you can steer your dreams if you go to bed with something specific in mind.
Yes, it's true that Lucid dreams are the ones which you can directly control the dream content. It is also a very good idea to keep a dream journal also. (y):giggle:

many of mine involve diapers as well both dreams and nightmares. One strange nightmare I had ronald mc donald kidnapped me for not eating at his restaurant enough. He turned me back into a kid (yes diapered) and then locked me into a kids chair. That part of the dream I didn't mind because it involved my little side. It became a nightmare when he said I was going to be locked up there and eat kids meals for the rest of my life. this is the short version.
I don't really do fast food and my renter had ordered a lot of mc donalds that night. I on the other hand had something spicy and spicy stuff always makes me dream or nightmare so i'm anticipating that had something to do with it.
😲 OMG! yes, that most definitely is a horrific nightmare on all fronts. 😔

Some dreams I remember very well, others I remember in little snippets.
But half the time I don't remember at all.
Most of the bad dreams I remember. ha ha
Yes, we do tend to remember the bad dreams more than the good ones. 😔

I know that I dream a lot, but I don't remember them half the time.

I can relate to that 💯 both having very Lucid dreams usually action based, and to waking up before i have slane the dragon, or defused the bomb, or rescued someone etc. My dreams are like action films. 🤣 Mostly anyway, although i do have the occasional weird ones too.

Definitely a lucid dreamer, which you are controlling the content. (y):giggle:

😲Oh dear, that doesn't sound good. Is it a reoccurring dream? or different dreams but following a similar theme?
they mostly follow a reoccurring theme, usually trapped and can't move, drowning, claustrophobic sort of stuff

Yes, we have different types of dreams, but we tend to remember Lucid dreams more than others, because lucid dreaming is a combination of both consciousness and REM sleep, and we can direct or control the dream content.

Yeah couldn't go back to bed after that.
Another I was driving a car but the front windshield was a wall, that I couldn't see through.

I know all about not being able to go back to bed, some nights I'll be up for hours, will try to lay back down but have a feeling that i need to move, up down, up down, some things get in my head and they just don't leave, truly frightening

If I have to go to the toilet in the middle of the night and then go back to sleep, I then usually can remember my dreams. I can also sometimes identify things which have happened during my waking hours that have crept into them.
