'Advance tied garments' was the tag.
Be great to adapt it to having a T-shirt top.
And I'm sure that I've seen such worn in old films and photos 🤔

Wow, that's a great find! I've never seen this pattern before. Thanks for sharing! This immediately makes me think of Julian Roberts for today. Are you familiar with him at all? He calls his design approach Subtraction Cutting. If you like this sort of thing he would be a great designer to check out. I would say this pattern has him written all over it, but it looks like it probably came out 30 years before he was born :ROFLMAO:

His book is on pattern design though is top notch and completely unlike most other boring ass drafting books lol...and oh yeah, free too :D. He's down with people sharing, changing, using his work If you want to check it out:
