That was...probably the most catty, though humorous thing I've see of you recently... ;-) "Oh poor baby..." yeah...we'll see what comes of it all... :D -Marka
Thanks. My wife brought it to my attention via e-mail notice, so I've now deleted. I'm open for business..haha.
Well, I was going to PM you, but your inbox is full, lol. You can actually download your past private messages (both sent and incoming) as text files if you don't want to lose anything. It's in the same menu as the delete action, so you can do a ton of messages at once even if you want to. I'm just pointing it out. I'm getting close to being full too, so I should also do that. :p
I sent a friend request...always nice to meet other believers on here. I work full time in church ministry and it's a wonderful thing -- challenging sometimes with this part of my life but I'v learned to come to terms with it pretty well and I actually think I have more compassion and kindness for it...
    Much love.

Wow, you've certainly been around. Consider me impressed..!

Over here at the churches I attend we call "praise bands" "the worship team". I imagine playing every weekend would build your musical abilities quite a lot, though I suppose the selection of music is a bit limited at times. Kudos.

Also "The Steve Freeman Band" huh? Impressive feat there! I can't say I've ever played for more than 20 people at a time, whereas you've gone in front of 20,000. Wow.

I am primarily a guitar person, so I primarily use mine for recording since it often takes some time to get a few tricky bars right, from which I can modify things afterwards digitally. A synth can add an awful lot to most genres of music, which is why I like mine.

As for playing live, perhaps if I actually played my Korg more (Eg: Outside of recording.) I could play it live in front of an audience as opposed to during jam sessions with friends... :)
You had gigs huh? Do you still have them?
    D
Oh they most certainly are, though in the end I end up resampling the resulting MIDI into a higher-quality S3M file which allow me to modify instruments and make tweaks quite nicely I think... :)

The M1 may have lost some of it's sheen, though I still make use of mine every now and then.

Good luck on teaching the choir, I've always loved singing. Although i despise math with a passion never have been good at it. It always make's me feel so stupid :dunno:. I'd never be able to teach math, let alone 7 classes a day. It's just so frustrating it drive's me mad, there's just to many steps in the formulas, and to many numbers. It's a necessary evil though that's for sure. My moms actually a school teacher, I really envy the patience, and smarts people like you have.

I'm still living with my brother, but I went to see my mommy for the week of thanksgiving. It was good to get to see her, it's hard being away. I start school before January 1st, but I'm really nervous. Between bills, physical therapy, and work school's just going to make me more stressed. There's just a lot still going on, but I'll get through it. Besides I always think someone in the world is having a harder life than me, not much consolation, but it helps a little.

And thanks a lot same to you, stay safe!

Hey I came back ^.^! How've you been?
Wonderful, I've ever so much been another beautifully twisted work from our very own maestro dogboy. Thanks for the exchange of words and have a lovely October.

Tusen takk og har det bra.
Greetings Dogboy, I felt the need to drop in on you and say "hey". Also I was wandering if you would grace us with a Halloween themed story this year.
Hey! Thanks for asking. Here in Lynchburg, VA we took the brunt of that storm that originated in the Ohio Valley. We got hit by hurricane force winds for more than an hour, devastating us and much of the state. We just got electrical power late Thursday night. We've been living with record heat, close to 100 F. every day. Even the nights have sometimes had 85 as a low. We got a generator so my wife could dialyze. It's been brutal, but we have survived. Our house and yard didn't get damaged, but your wouldn't believe what I've seen. Oaks with 3 foot diameters smashed through the center of houses, and telephone poles down like a string of dominoes. I'm so relieved that the worst is over. It will probably take months for clean up. Again, thanks for asking. Both me and my wife are safe and sound, and feeling a lot better in our air conditioning.

where are you... what has happened....
    L
It's sort of a series, but you can read the first one by itself and it is a complete story all in one.
(Basically, 'Ender's Game' takes place, then there is another book about another character in the story, and then both books have a three-part sequel series as well as several others. All of them are really good, but if you wanted to just read the first one you could, easily.

He does a lot of Science Fiction, (his most famous and renowned book is Ender's Game, it's fantastic,) but he also has written a couple horror novels, some fantasy, and one particularly good book that took the story of biblical Moses and turned it into a 600 page novel. (A lot better than it sounds.)
    L
Ah, I see. I have read the book, though I didn't remember the name of the author... As far as good books go, have your read anything by Orson Scott Card?
