Word of caution about tampons in the rectum.They are designed to be super absorbent. As a result, they can dry up essential bodily fluids and there is even a risk of toxic shock with tampons in the rectum. Obviously, they are not designed for that purpose.
I have no judgement about the idea. In fact for many years I put myself “on my period” whenever it was my wife’s time of the month. However, I used pads (which she tended to prefer as well).
If you are determined to continue to put tampons in your rectum, one way to mimimizevrisk is to secure a condom around it so that it can not absorb fluids. Keep in mind that no “real woman” would insert a condom in her rectum, but she would put a pad in her panties.
