Pampers size 8 have stretchy sides! (again)

I just bought Pampers size 8 with the new designs, but stretchy sides. They were made on October 5, 2022, and produced in the UK. I bought them in Asda.

This is a surprising change, considering the sides were changed only a few months ago to be less stretchy. I have a feeling that Pampers have different sides depending on where you buy them.

Has anyone else got stretchy sides again? Are your sides still not stretchy?

P.S. If anyone has bought size 6 Baby Dry's with the new Sesame Street prints in the US, I'd love to hear if those sides are stretchy again too! Thanks!

I also bought them again recently after quite a while so the last time I had them before that they were „still“ stretchy.
I do have the stretchy sides now (again? still?) - I‘ll check where and when they were made once I get a chance.
I bought them in Germany about 2 weeks ago.

agree...... I'll gladly switch back if they're back to the way they were. Luvs are ok, but a bit less absorption than Baby Drys.

They changed the sides to be way less stretchy earlier this year
