So what type of cable do you plug into the SNES-style connector? HD Retrovision component cable, RGB SCART, or something else?

RGB SCART is what I standardized on a long time ago.

I didn't go that route because it needs more modding, but it's simpler if all your consoles use the same hookups. I have a switch box for S-Video and one for Component, then they both go to a main switcher which then goes to my RetroTINK. I am able to have my NES on composite and everything else on S-Video or Component without unplugging anything, but there are a lot of wires lol.

I have an unused SCART connector on the side of my RetroTINK, maybe I'll pick up a NES for modding at some point, if I ever get a proper desoldering gun. Just removing the capacitors from that thick thru-hole board with an iron was hard enough, I won't even attempt the chips without the proper tools. Is the mod you used still available?
