1250:1 is a pretty incredible absorbency ratio. Current SAP is only 300:1. Nothing in the paper about the absorbency rate though. Would like to see how that compares.

The carbohydrate polymers known as CHCAUR are 8 times super absorbing with cross linked polymer absolutely astonishing , in an dult nappy the capacity would be amazing!

Would be cool ! it would make normal nappies smaller due to increased absorbtion i would think and less visable untll wet.
