I visited Winnipeg once in the summer. The Mosquito's were the size of Hummingbirds LOL I visited a cousin there who gave me a tour of the city, the Mint and Zoo and a Red River cruise. It was pretty good and then I drove to Calgary, Banff Springs and Lake Louise.Dldlns2 said:Im visiting Winnipeg for the next few days but home is nova scotia.

I know that the state of Maine has a significant number of French speakers and French schools as well. By coincidence it borders with Quebec.phillybaby22 said:I’m from Texas but I really want to live in Quebec! I’m tired of being the only French speaker here!
There's also a community in Louisiana, which is much closer than Quebec, and I could swear there's a french population in Dallas and Houston, I think there's even some french schools there, its just not advertised anywhere. In 1993, we were in Corpus Christi during a trip, and we stumbled upon an employee at a Wattaburger that spoke french to us, she was afraid her french would be horrible but it was very good, she must have been in her early 70's that's all I can remember, I was very surprised to find out not everyone in USA spoke english or spanish, in 1993, my english notions were very limited.CaregiverCody said:I know that the state of Maine has a significant number of French speakers and French schools as well. Aw, c’mon. I don’t mind a Canada-only poll, but you unchecked the “Allow the results to be viewed without voting” option, so non-Canadians can’t see the results without lying and pretending to be from Ontario. (Don’t worry, I didn’t actually do that!)Rearz902 said:I’m curious to how many Canadian’s use this website!
