I love the Gerry Anderson puppet series such ad 'Thunderbirds', 'Stingray' and 'Captain Scarlet'. In fact, last Saturday whilst at my sister's, I watched an old episode of 'Thunderbirds' on 'Talking Pictures TV'. It brought some childhood memories back. I used have Thunderbirds nos. 1,2 & 3 as toys.(Also an Angel Interceptor from 'Captain Scarlet ' that used to fire plastic missiles which would always get lost. )
Watching 'Thunderbirds ' as an adult, I was impressed by the high quality of the model sets, which sometimes would actually be set on fire! Wonderful memories.

I love Barry Grays music. I was gutted when they replaced his original theme from 'Space 1999' with another.

THE POWERPUFF GIRLS
although i did also love all those old 60's cartoons
I feel bad for kids nowadays who don't get to watch that stuff. I wouldn't be the person I am without it..
Cartoons nowadays are so hyper and sugary..
Like the 2016 PPG, I mean I enjoyed it but compared to the original its still a pale imitation. Everything seems like its played at +10% speed.
Everything nowadays has to be hyper and meme-y and it kind of makes me sick..
I stopped watching cartoons on TV around when teen titans go started being 75% of cartoon networks programming.
Teen titans go has a special place in hell if you ask me. Total bastardization of the original show. And CN pushed it HARD.
I think the last 'good' cartoon was adventure time. 2016 PPG was alright, I think it would have been better if the writers hadn't been forced to cater to modern cartoon expectations. (cue memeface)

Hello,

There are so many to recall and of course as I grew, they changed so it’s probably best to put them in some sort of order.

I remember,

Romper room
Hectors house
Play school
Magpie
Blue Peter
Captain pugwash
The magic roundabout

Then came,

The banana splits
Swapshop
Jackanory
John cravens newsround
Crackerjack
How

I could go on and on but it’s a flavour of my youth and what made me who I am.

Still scratching my head where the little sissy girl came from. 🤪🤣🤣🤣👗👙👠

Jenny x ❤️
Prob. Blue Peter.... with that famous line of "Here's one I made earlier" 🤣

And.... oddly... Unsolved Mysteries. As an 8 to 12yo (88-92), this show was scary and weird, yet entertaining. I can totally hear the theme music! Robert Stack's iconic voice, and the way he delivered the lines would scare the pants off me 😋
