My two youngest littles feel such comfort wearing diapers. It feels like a safe and secure hug. 
It also offers security for their potty needs.
Mostly, diapers help them feel safe.
While they long for gentle hands to change them when they need it and have raspberries blown on their tummies, etc., I'm thankful for love and affection they do receive in their lives.
I'm certainly not complaining. I think sometimes I feel a bit guilty when I sense their extended needs/wants because I don't want to sound (or be) ungrateful for thr affection and nurture they do receive.
What about you? Do diapers feel like hugs to you? Do they help you feel safe?
