I tried a bag of those and was not impressed. Only average capacity, no (was it front or back?) elastic.

This may or may not work, may not be legal either.
If you are close to the boarder you can get them shipped to a fedex location and drive to get them.

Or get a mailbox at a ups store type place

Totally legal, as long as you claim them at the border.. I don't believe there is customs on medical good, but you'll still need to claim them.
