If the apartment doesn’t call me back soon, I may lose it.
They said this week.
Its already the end of Wednesday.
Nothing.
My Parents want us out.
My anxiety is telling me they’re gonna change their mind and deny us (not likely)
I’m scared
I want this process over
It’s taken forever.
I want to be in my own apartment.
Safe from the toxicity of my family.
safe with just @RaccoonPrincess and me.
Nobody else.
My family sucks.
My brother is a liar and a faker.
My mom can’t control her anger.
I don’t want to be here.
Why is housing so difficult

I've never done it myself, but I hear that you're supposed to print these sorts of lists and then burn them. ;)

I am here to talk to.
I understand how "waiting" for something is upsetting when it is taking so long.
I am lucky I am on my own in my own home that is mine outright.

Well guys, I didn’t get the call I wanted.

because some parties took too long getting their share of the paperwork in, the financial paperwork we submitted is no longer acceptable. It is out of date.

we now have to submit new paperwork.

this is frustrating

Nobody is talking with each other to get the situation resolved.

They said it’s just a matter of compliance/code. They said the only think we can do on our end today is submit our most recent paystubs. The rest they have to do (reaching out to unemployment etc to get our most recent benefits information)
 
It's amazing how inept bureaucrats are! I hope things work out soon. It does sound horribly frustrating.

I asked “is there any chance we’re gonna have an apartment by the end of the year?” And she said “more than likely yes.” I hope she’s right.
 
Two months is a long time to wait though an apartment of your own would make a very nice Christmas present.
