How often you see your doctor?

I had a Urodynamic study done 3 or so weeks ago and have not heard a thing. I am unsure what happens next or when I see my Urologist next.

Call the contact number on the form you received prior to leaving the clinic.

I was going to wait until end of next week if I had not heard from them. I need to contact them for another script for medication and I will mention it then.

They must have known I was taking about them. I was sent a letter yesterday and I have been referred to the Urology outpatient clinic in the next 2-months.

basically, never. When my issues started, I had like around ten doctors’ visit within two months, only to conclude, they don’t have a clue why I have started loosing control and wetting myself. Since then, I don’t care. My condition is steady, and I can manage it with diapers. I don’t want to hear any more “I don’t know”s.
And what is your diagnosis?

Well, my Doctor and had a very good discussion about Dr.'s visit. last week. I had blood tests done and X-rays. I read my file and he stated all was normal!o_O I think he discussed me with some other Doctors I am set up for an MRI and with Neuro-Diagnostics. I did not see that coming but it makes sense. During our visit, I was telling him what was wrong with me and for once he was my New GP (I got him in the summer of 2020 my old Doctor Retired) he really listened to me going back to when I was in the Hospital with COVID-19 and think he kind of blew me off last year. He has drastically changed in his approach last year.:cautious:
The reason I say what I did above is during the discussion he mentioned I wonder if you had a small stroke?Hmmm? Stay tuned for more on my Neuropathy and Incontinence.

I have not seen a doctor in over 16 years. I have no known health issues, and feel fine. I don't see a reason to go.

How often you see your doctor? Have you ever met with a therapist? I know it's personal but I'm trying to gauge what the IC members do.
Nowadays, once very 18 months. But now that I think about it, there really is no need to see her (urologist). I can’t improve and I can’t get worse (well, I guess I could become fecal IC; yikes!).

They are finding new ways and procedures for this illness. For my pelvic pain they are now injecting my bladder with medications to alleviate some of the pain.

My diagnoses simply says enuresis and nocturnal enuresis. Since they couldn't pinpoint the root cause (clear ultrasound, clear urodynamics, clear MRI) one urologist unofficially told me OAB but refused to put it on my record. Since then I don't care about their opinions, especially they are kind of judgmental of my choice of management with diapers, instead of taking meds with horrible side-effects based on their guesses.

Managed to see a Long Covid specialist privately recently which has helped with my issues re healthcare locally as he recommended medication so just using my GP surgery for prescriptions which is working as I can do it all it remotely. I do find it shocking how little doctors seem to care locally though. I was prescribed some heavy duty stuff and was expecting a follow up consult like in the past to see how things are - nope, nothing. You can't even make appointments any more.

It depends on my situation. The last 8 years I have been doing well. No frequent bladder infections. No retention anymore. I have an appointment with my urologist once / two times a year. This visits will be combined with an ultrasound of the kidney's and cystoscopy.
And my GP in the same frequency, only when needed.

Every 90 days I half to because of my MS situation . When my spinal cord starts to act up which effects everything I go to see him . So I’d say between 6 to 9 times yearly . Sometimes they just do an internet visit because it can be difficult to load me in a vehicle .
