I completely understand you honestly! I’m only a couple years older than you but cloth backed really just feels nicer and less muggy to me when I wet, personally. I see the appeal of plastic, but it is so loud and muggy in comparison!PrettyLilPrincess said:

Why not cloth-backers? 
Of the two offered, I certainly prefer "crowd." It sounds like the disorganized mess we are. "Crew" sounds worky! (Or maybe boaty or piratey.)
