Any 'solid' literature or academic stuff for AB's?

Amazon have quite a wealth of books on the subject, from the Bent's collection through to the expected full on porn aspect. A safer way to search and you can often down load a free sample to see if it's what your looking for.
Just pointing out people really don't pay as much attention as some think they do, harder to link things than you think, and in the end most really don't care anyway.
I myself came across a lot you would not believe and know with 100% certainty who it came from (I do computer repair/upgrade work on the side, sometimes that involves data recovery - so obviously I know who's computer I am working on - and HAVE to see them when I am finished) - it only gets my attention for a few seconds, but none of my business, just fix the problem, really don't care. Actually anymore - more data recovery (mostly due to viruses) than anything else - because most use laptops now - I have before, but now REFUSE to open those.

Sorry, my bad. I meant in the comfort of our own homes rather than using a public terminal/cafe/bookshop etc.
Believe me when I say I know about data searches and recovery..... that's one reason my wife is also my mummy..... I am one of the lucky ones!

No nothing and there is an erroneous entry in DSM which is used by psychiatrists - and the bents repeat themselves over their books,
But only an AB/DL would know what you were looking for.. and there isn't much to find anyway.

Apart from the good stuff from the Bents?
Everything seems to be over 30 years old that I have found, and sometimes you just don't want to read it after the preface telling you 'your a dysfunctional waste of space with a tendency to paedophilia'.
I get the paraphilia description, but that's not me or apparently many AB's.
I'm a non sexual regressive aged 0-6 months for crying out loud!!
It's long overdue for some empirical studies and sensible results👍😁
just read, "LIVING HAPPILY AS AN ADULT BABY" by Dylan Lewis... it is outstanding. It is well researched and sourced with the most up to date information out there. If there is something that helps to make sense of the "why" this is the best book that I have read. I am on my second read through. It is thorough, 250+ serious pages.

Thank you BitterGrey, it's not too late for me!
I'm taking it all in and will be telling the world, well Adisc, about what I believe are the most salient, practical and helpful pieces of research.
Not a true study, but taken from a real AB and DL perspective.
Thanks👍😁👍

Thanks Littlemoosey,
It's on my list to get around to! You are the first to mention it here though, so hopefully others will also get the benefit of it👍😁👍
Thanks again

I remember seeing a book a while back. It was titled something like "My Babies". It was written by a psychiatrist who tried regression as a form of therapy with her patients and was writing to recommend it as a method. Obviously this isn't for kink purposes, but I find a lot of ABDL is effectively self therapy and done for the same reason. I didn't get the book so i can't tell you too much about it, but I think the idea of regression therapy does exist, so you might find more on it
I think the book you're referring to is "All My Children" by Jacqui Lee Schiff. The book is essentially a chronicle of regression therapy applied to kids who are either extremely antisocial or mentally ill.

Just read a bit about that book... scary stuff. like seriously, the "therapist" is connected to the murder of a patient by scolding hot water, seriously messed up stuff.

Dr rhoda lipscomb did her doctoral thesis on abdls it is piblically available. Also there are several other academic papers beyond those mentioned. You will have better luck using the scientific terms for abdl. autonepiophilia and paraphilic infantilism some also use adult baby syndrome but they tend to be older and biased against us.

Autonepiophilia tends to relate to diaper lovers ( though it means to treat oneself as a baby and is used for both). Paraphilic infantilism tends to relate more towards adult babies though it is also used for both abs and dls.

Yes, very much a work of fiction, so can't use it🤔

Thanks WT, it's on my list to read, and is definitely one of those to be entered in my eventual compilation of useful writings once I've classified it.
👍😁

They take a very different angle than the traditional this is just a fetish theory, and focus on it being more of an identity issue. I think they are on to something, this is a fetish for some, bit for others it goes deeper.
Yeah, over the years I've noticed that there's a split between people who do this as an occasional thing (usually sexual, but not necessarily), and people who feel a need to live it almost as a full time lifestyle.

its not fiction... its all real and documented

Sorry Aby, I meant as in its credibility, as has been brought into question by the authors peers and several eminent psychologists since.
The work carried out was considered too suggestive in its questioning and probably created more unreliable results than true ones (the fiction bit).
There was some criticism that in fact some of the subjects went on to suffer trauma from the approach.
