I have been wearing for a very long time. The question whether to wear diapers was the simple choice between hose and bag or diapers was a fairly basic one: Pain and connection failures or the thickness and added diaper cover bulk. A fairly easy choice when a connection failed seriously.

ADISC was more an opportunity to meet those like individuals that where IC as well.

If ADISC never existed, I would still be wearing diapers and diapers covers 24/7 as that is my reality!

Being able to communicate with others and share knowledge has been enjoyable!

Like others have said, my desire to wear diapers was in me even when I was a baby boy. I was out of diapers before 3 and grew up watching cousins and strangers in their diapers past the age I was out of them by and I was the jealous one. I spent my whole childhood and teens always thinking about diapers and always wanted one, but couldn’t ever do it.

There were 2 times I found adult diapers that could’ve fit me, but I couldn’t figure out how to put the things on. Both times I threw the diapers back where they came from because I never had the space to do it without being seen or the time to even figure it out. But when I moved into my current place, I finally had the time and privacy to get it right, so I bought my 1st diaper sample from XPMedical and never stopped buying. It wasn’t until later when I found DD.com. But it wasn’t them who inspired me to wear. It was my inner desire. DD and ADISC helped me in a lot of ways though as a support group, so I’m glad they exist.

I actually discovered this hobby before the internet, let alone ADISC, took off. But I have to admit that the internet helped. And that was in the early days, when everything was still free and 3/4 of the Internet was occupied by porn. Today, 3/4 of the Internet is occupied by advertising. I remember that the AB/DL promotion/publication was started back then by an American couple who had a blog and shared photos. There were also usenet groups and similar before the internet came along in its present form. And I must say that Internet helped me discover myself. It helped a lot. Although I only recently discovered ADISC.

I have been a member of NAFC since 95 or so. It was about the first internet ic support I remember. That and pre net I would mail order my molicare super from HDIS. I have not shopped from them in 20 years but they use to be a very caring company. But they did not keep up with the growth of the extended wear diapers. But I remember when Youtube was add free myspace was a thing and Yahoo was king of the net. I still have a yahoo email. I never use it but it is still active.

I've been fascinated by diapers for as long as I can remember, i.e. a few decades before the existence of the Internet. So adisc.org has had no part in this. However, some ABDL websites has helped me accept what I am.

I was into them before I knew this community existed. Then of course there used to be a website (which started before the internet as a zine) called DPF (Diaper Pail Friends). It was around way before adisc existed.

I’ve been wanting to be a baby before internet existed so yes. The first time I found out there was other into the baby scene was in the 80s watching an episode of Donahue where their was 5 abdl, one of them was the infamous Tommy from DPF.

Of course, I can't be sure what life would be like for me without this place and without my friends in the community. Since I joined and started talking with others, I've become a lot happier with this part of myself. It's certainly possible that I indulge my little side more now than if I'd never joined, but my little side, and its need for diapers, go way back. I was stealing diapers from my younger sister when I was six years old. That was 12 years before I had internet access and 30 years before I found ADISC. Through all those intervening years, I was in diapers regularly and often. Things were just a lot lonelier.

Yes! While I have been a member here forever and a day, OK 16 years, I was a member in many previous groups and DL since before time began. Well the early 1960s anyway. ADISC is by far the best information and support community I have encountered in this long journey.

I was dual ic before becoming a member of ADISC and a plastic pants lover from as far back as I can remember but I only became a DL after a year or so of wearing 24/7 for the incontinence beginning nearly 9 years ago. The website has been a great place to learn from others and to come to the understanding that I’m not alone in this. It would’ve been nice if this forum, along with its camaraderie, would’ve been available when I was an adolescent bed wetter feeling like I was the only one with nocturnal enuresis as it would’ve insured me that I wasn’t. It would’ve also helped greatly with the isolation I felt from having an affinity for plastic pants for babies back then. Sixty years ago I was sure that I was unique in this desire and I lived in fear that others would find out but still found the attraction extremely difficult to resist. Anyway it’s a comfort to have the forum and its members to share with now.

I am more than thankful to have met all the incredible people here, their intelligence, perspectives, and insights on so many topics related not only to diapers, but everything. I think there is an interesting dart of coolness to everyone here: IC, and optionally DL. Very smart and creative crowd.

I have been a diaper addict since at least 5. (don't ask me to say my name, and say, "Hi, ?????" F-that. But it's ingrained in me. I am grateful for this site, and the truly cool and amazing people that have come here.

My interest in diapers came about when I was 8 years old. I acted on these desires and I love it when I get to wear. The only computer available as that time was my dad's computer which he used for work. This was back in 1999. I didn't know how to browse the web back then. It wasn't until I moved out of my parents place and went to college when I figured there must be others like me, that I Googled "adults wearing diapers for fun" or something like that until I found the term abdl and found forums like this.

I was stealing diapers before I turned 10 and driving to buy them as soon as I had my drivers license. There was no adisc back then. Did I feel like I was the only one and a freak? Hell ya. But finding daily diapers led to my discovery that I wasn’t alone.

it is so sad the amount of porn at the fingertips of any teenager today. In my day we had the sears catalog unless our dad was into nudy books too. Mine was not. But the sears spring and summer. I cant tell you how much lotion I have used in my teenage years thanks to sears. Holly hell ....the spring and summer addition!!!!!!!!!
