You prefer plastic: natural, artificial

Natural
(bio plastic)
(may contain traces of: pesticides, GMO, etc.)
(made with no petroleum)
()
(degradable over a short time)
(consume agricultural space)
(Not polluting to incineration)

Artificial
(made with petroleum)
(polyethylene, polypropylene)
(not degradable over a short time)
(does not consume agricultural space)
(Not polluting to incineration)
(Neutral for the skin)

If it doesn't negatively affect my health in any major way or break down in use natural all the way.

Non-biodegradable plastics and trash are a big problem.

Biodegradable, natural plastics tend to not work well for things like diapers or trash bags. That's because they don't maintain integrity very well when stored for a long time, and will beging to break down as soon as they are exposed to water or the sun. Either that or they end up not being so very waterproof or biodegradable as claimed.

IF the technology for natural plastics could be improved enough to function reliably then and only then would we even start seeing natural bioplastics used in baby or adult diapers. Of note, there is some use of it in some baby diapers already, and only as a coating to cloth disposables. As mentioned though they still aren't reliable, hence why all the big manufacturers still use petrolium based plastics, and why we don't see it used at all in adult diapers.

We are however making research on Bio-Polymer plastics which, if we can get it to work better than it is, could replace all types of plastic.

Agreed, it has improved some already and continues to do so. IF scientists can make a thin sheet of plastic that is completely waterproof and will NOT break down for at least a year, then we will likely see it used in some adult diapers. And yeah, I'd be right there testing them out.
