Always loved full size panties like those, never really liked bikinis or thongs. That style of pantie works great as a diaper cover for me. They help hold my diaper up when I'm wet.

Panties then offered so much more coverage. There really werent any thongs ,skimpy bikinis or string bikinis back then. They were full briefs mostly worn then. I actually like how they looked so much fuller and cute elastics.

I loved panties from a young age though I didn't cross-dress much. In boot camp we were required to wear boxers in lieu of "tighty whities"; they chaffed and bunched up and everything flopped around. After boot camp, I got rid of my boxers as quickly as I could, saving a few for seabag inspection. Before I had continence issues, I tried to get my wife to switch out my boring briefs for panties. For a while she did but she really wasn't into it though she did make me some pink night shirts. I definitely prefer full cut panties and I always thought that thongs would be uncomfortable.

Those were full coverage literally.

Secrets In Lace: definitely retro. I love most of the panties, though I prefer skimpier bras. Colors are GREAT! I wish I had more money; I'd have a field day dressing my wife!

Many, many years ago, panties were made of thicker materials, would last years, they were wider and covered better.
