I see. I interpret "sexual" to mean it feels "erotic". It brings a sexual body response, ie., you feel stimulated, things happen in your mid-section, erection, wetness, increase in blood flow down there, adult thoughts about physical contact with another person, etc...
I don't feel that "sexual" means you have to act on them, but merely that you feel them. Could include masturbation, too.
That said, being excited to be back in a diaper doesn't inherently mean "sexually excited".

You say "turns me on" caused by the euphoria. Probably most of us interpret "turns me on" to mean the same thing... a sexual context.

I saw someone on here claim that ABDLism is 'often not sexual', which goes contrary to my experience and what I've heard from many others, but, would be interested to know more on this topic. No judgement at all either way.

I mean . . . its kinda both.

I've known I was interested in diapers since I was around 4 and obviously as I got older it evolved into a attraction to them. But for the most part I don't feel anything when wearing or seeing others wearing.

Sometimes. Diapers turn me on like nothing else on earth, and I often use diaper porn to masturbate. But. I don't tend to get as turned on wearing diapers myself. It's likely a byproduct of having worn them for as long as I have: they used to be incredibly stimulating, but now they're far more comfortable than anything (if that makes sense). I love, love, love the feel of being in a wet diaper, but it's no longer linear progress from that to orgasm - which it used to be.

I enjoy ABDL for both sexual and non-sexual feels, though I rarely play without sexual involvement. To me, sexual play inside ABDL is like having sprinkles on ice cream. Is it necessary? Absolutely not and I can enjoy just fine without. But if I have sprinkles, why not add them in? I can't think of any situation sprinkles don't improve ice cream for me, so if I have them I'm gonna use them.
