Just found out this morning that Jerry Springer died, he’ll be missed by many. Recently he was interviewed and said he did mind being called the grandfather of trash tv just think about it if no Jerry Springer there would have been no other talk shows that pushed the boundaries as in Maury and others.

Back in the early 90's, when my sister and I were in high school, we'd occasionally watch his show together and laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. I don't exactly have anything "good" to say about it, but I suppose I feel a little nostalgia for it anyway.

Who is also deceased ...

Dr. Evil (Mike Myers) still lives. Mini Me (Verne Troyer) died.

At one point, Jerry confessed that most of what went on in the show was scripted. His show went through a faze were there would be an elaborate wedding dinner with food and of course, the great big wedding case. At some point a big argument would ensue and much food was thrown, especially the cake, usually into the face of the wife or groom. It was always a hoot.
