How long have you been wearing nappies?

I started playing with cloth diapers we still had in the house when I was in elementary school. They were too small so I had to hold them up with underwear or towels or such - and of course they were prone to leaking. Bought my first pack of medical ones in my early 20s. (I never tried grocery store ones; they didn't seem right.) From the beginning, I've only worn sporadically, not regularly. 50 (or so) years and counting.

Like many on this thread, not really sure. I just know that the desire has been there from an early age. I love the feel of nappy wearing, combined with the risk of discovery. It makes it very exciting and comforting.
Just been away on holiday, the hotel had large white towels in the bathroom, couldn't help wrapping myself in a a towelling nappy, really enjoying the feeling. Big, bulky and soft, very exciting. Big shame I couldn't wet them, but great feeling all the sat. 🧷😃

Have you needed to explain why you are diapered to your doctor - if so have they been concerned?
Well, no, I see no reason to tell my doctor I wear and use diapers all the time now. I did mention my OAB, which causes sudden, overwhelming strong urges, and frequent urination. She referred me to a specialist, and as I feel I must wear diapers now, I went, just for the peace of mind.

He found no issues of concern, other than some of my lifestyle needs and choices are probably aggravating my bladder and need "modification". Surprisingly, he did mention that “holding it” too long could lead to UTIs, and I should plan better on outings, and/or wear a “protective undergarment” when a toilet may not be available. He said I should make an appointment to see him again every two years, so I’ve been back once, and I’m relieved he could not find any related issues.

So, I feel “good to go” with no problems…as long as I’m wearing my diaper!

Wow - it looks like you have got all the "permissions" to wear them ,then. My concern if I wore diapers to the doctor would be that he would need to examine me and I would have to explain. This would then no doubt lead to unnecessary and probably unpleasant investigations

"Good to go" - love it !
