Hi all
I have a question for you, what was your first experience with any kind of pull-up or diaper and what was it

It was a cheap pull up from the chemist and I leaked immediately lol

Mine was Pampers up until 8 for bedwetting. An then after a car accident left me paralyzed at 13. Woke up in the hospital and well padded with Attends back in the late 80's. Had no idea they made diapers that size.

Mine was a tabbed Depends diaper from theearlyb2000s...I finally had my own place so it was time to get my own diapers. I was terrified for some reason to bring diapers into my parents house when living with them for some reason. They never spied on me or my stuff. So anyway I hit the local drug store and picked Depends because I saw commercials about them. I opened the bag and was quite happy at how crinkly and sizeable they were. They were cheap but it didnt matter at the time, I was finally putting on a real diaper that would fit me properly. It wasnt the crappy makeshift ones I was using while still living at home. I loved walking around my apartment in just the diaper and t shirt, felt like a toddler again. I loved how crinkly they were too!

I stole some pull ups from a fire evacuation shelter I was volunteering at and put them on in the bathroom.

Mine was a pull up diaper cause I was quite young and always been so skinny.

Sixth grade. I stole Pampers from a cousin's stash. Wore them in the front because they were too small to fit me. If I got daring I'd wear two. One in front and one in back. After that I had to wait until age 16 when I could drive, and then I bought my own Attends and later Depend.

Depends maximum protection with 6 tabs. Rode my bike to the local pharmacy. Back then, I thought they were the best thing ever. Having tried multiple ABDL diapers since then, I now know how trash they are.

Either the CVS or Walgreens brand of adult diapers. In college, I was lucky enough to get a room to myself freshman year (Roomate dropped out) and a day or two before thanksgiving break, most people had already left and I took a late night bus ride to the pharmacy and got myself a pack of them.

Pampers size 5 stretch was my first after being potty trained diaper, from that day forward I've been hooked.

Nice question. Mine back in 2013 was the Abena Delta Form. Ordered a sample of 2, that was the 1st time I ever properly wore a diaper that fit me, and also the 1st time I successfully fastened one on without fail. I still remember that day. It took me a while to figure out how to even put a diaper on myself, and when I did, it was a joy that was missing from my life for a very long time. I don't think I ordered a pack of those Delta Forms after the sampler; I'm pretty sure I went with the good ole Abri Forms aka M4s. Just fell in love with them, and ordered them often from XP Medical.

Pampers back when I was 10 (circa 1993/94) ... I have written about it before on here but the TL; DR is:

I was at the sitters when I was 10, a few kids wet their pants one day and she got fed up with it so stated the next person who did would be diapered for the rest of the week. So, my immature mind called her bluff. I ended up diapered for the rest of the week. And loved every second of it!

I can’t remember exactly what my first diaper was exactly, it was probably one of my younger siblings diapers or a diaper my sister had for her baby dolls. The only thing I do remember about wearing diapers before I was a teenager was that if I did take some of my younger siblings diapers was I would have to take 2 and I would try and tape them together so they would fit me in the front and back. I do however remember one of the diapers that really got me into wearing again was a girls pull up I found in the bathroom at one of my aunts house. I can remember going in there and finding them and shaking a little bit cause I wanted to wear them but i knew I wasn’t supposed to. I also remember putting one on and wearing it home then having to hide it from my mom. I think this happened when I was about 13-14. I also remember one time about that same age when I went with my parents to look at houses and I also found some pull ups in the bathroom and I did the same thing I snuck it home in my pants and would eventually get caught with it and have it took away. It wasn’t until i moved out when I was in my early 20s that I was able to buy my first package of diapers and they were goodnites and I also tried some underjams but out of those 2 liked the goodnites better cause they didn’t rip and I felt like they had more flexibility and not so tight on me.

2 pampers size 3 which i took from my little sisters stash. I stuck together with the velcro and the diapers slightly over lapping. It really didn't work well so i had to quickly found something that would fit.

When I was first exploring this, while still heavily secretive and repressed, I drove up to the local Family Dollar to buy the cheapest sample pack of the largest sizes baby diaper they had. They didn't fit me at all so I kind of wore them under my underpants ripped open at the sides. they leaked right away. whoops

Tena Men Premium Fit (I'm in the UK).

A couple of years ago I started to suffer from frequent urges to urinate and as I'd been close to "disgracing myself" on a couple of occasions bit the bullet and started to wear these as insurance against doing so. I must admit to it being a big confidence booster, especially as I went down the route of bladder re-training and peeing by a schedule and not in response to an urge to do so - just in case I'd got it wrong. There were just two occasions when they had to earn their keep, but this was after curiosity had got the better of me and eventually when I needed to pee I just relaxed and let go, rather than using the loo (restroom). To be honest it was a liberating experience . . . doing something that I'd been socialised not to do for over fifty years. It was then that I started to understand why some people get a kick out of wearing and making use of incontinence protection garments rather than wearing them simply out of a medical/health necessity. I could also see how wearing inco-knickers could eventually lead people to becoming "lazy"/complacent, and reliant on them, and eventually losing their continence as a consequence.

I still occasionally wear when I have a UTI developing and suffer irritation of the bladder/urinary tract - so it's not possible to know the difference between urges caused by the infection and those resulting from a full bladder (although as I use DIY catheters if they're within an hour or so since
draining my bladder it'll be down to the former).

Regards and best wishes for 2024 to all.
