Well after it has been determined that my bladder doesn't contract at all and the inter-stim device that was installed to help does not work for the problem anymore, I am finally having surgery to place a Supra-pubic catheter. This is due to my limited dexterity will be a capped device and will not be draining into a bag as myself being active, I can't connect the bag effectively enough to keep it together. If it does become uncapped it will drain into my diaper like my current catheter, worst part of that is the cap get lost in my pants and things get soaked fast. But my Doctor and NP, like myself have no worries about this or infection as I too am an infectious disease control specialist clinic nurse specialist so the chance normal cleaning are no greater than a normal supra-pubic. I'm just trying to find out if I can swim with this thing in, this summer, but I guess I'll find out. I would have had surgery on the 23 of this month but I got Covid-19 on the 30 of January and that messed that up so I had to wait so I can handle the general anesthestia.
