Already planning to see it in the cinema!

Musicals are fun. I will admit that I haven't seen many stage musicals and mostly have seen movies. My most favorite has to be Les Miserables but I like Fiddler on the Roof too.

Probably the only musicals I like are South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut, and Sweet Todd, and concert documentaries if they count.

I have seen this summer ‘Heathers’ and ‘Rock of Ages’. The plot to Heathers was awesome but the 80d music of ‘Rock of Ages’ wad the best. We have tickets next month in Lauderdale to see ‘Six’, can’t wait!!

I recently saw "Into the Woods" and it was wonderful. When I was young, our movie theater would show the old movie musicals like "Student Prince", etc. and my mom and I would go see them. I guess my dad wasn't interested but I loved them. We also saw some musical on Broadway. We say "Hello Dolly" and "Sound of Music".

Hmm it depends. I'm really liking Helluva Boss recently but not much else.

I just saw 'JESUS' at the sight and sound theater Branson, MO
It was AMAZING!!!

Here's the link

Back in 2011 with a couple autistic friends of mine, we saw "Billy Elliot" on Broadway.

I like musicals, I used to do them in local theaters. I think for most that I like it's about the music more than the stories or acting even.
most Disney movies are musicals, whether it's an animation like the Lion King or live action like Mary Poppins. I think the most recent thing I saw was Better Nate than ever.

I think it's the spectacle of a musical that can't be beat. The immersion in the sound and sights and the necessary suspension of disbelief. More than anything else I'd say it is the musical where the stage will always be ascendant over the cinema. Well dance and Pantomime too for much the same reasons.

I know every single word to every single song from the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat… Love me some good musicals :p Xo

Huge musical fan! So far I've only seen The Lion King and War of the Worlds live but trust me, there will be more to come!

I got The Lion King tickets as a Christmas present...it was well worth a 2 year wait(tickets were a present Xmas 2019...then Corona so it was May this year before I got to see it).

Main ambition now is to see Six and Wicked-I'm in love with both. I would also love to see Beauty and the Beast, but here in the UK it doesn't show often...the run in London ends soon and I don't think it tours either...I don't live near London at all. The Lion King was at my local theatre...

I grew up on musicals and theatre. My father is a technical theatre specialist and he exposed me to much of the backstage culture. It was a little on the toxic masculine side, the irony of which is never lost on me.

I was also exposed to some of the great musical scores and recordings, from both my father as a technical theatre professional and my mother, a professional concern violinist. I have a great appreciation for music as a result.

I never performed a musical and I’ve never made the pilgrimage to Broadway, but I love musicals in nearly every form.

This may be a little off topic but I read your post as "Does anyone else HATE musicians" and I don't know how

Phantom of the Opera is my absolute favorite. I love musicals. I own and run a small theater. Unfortunately can’t do musicals-very expensive! If you get a chance try to see South Pacific.

Nope, nope, nope. I don't care about musicals. I love listening to oldies and soft rock music on the radio or online Internet streaming audio, but I don't care about musicals that much. I guess some are okay though, like "Oklahoma" or "The Sound of Music".
