Why are there mostly pics or vids of women in diapers over men? Im not into men but something I just notice is all.

It may be what your searching. I have seen a lot of guys in diapers.

Twitter & Tumblr both have a ton! Just depends on what you search for. There seems to be more high quality pictures of women diapered though, but again you can find high quality shots of men too.

Yes, places selling products usually tend to use women for pics, noe exclusive but more than half for sure.

i think it comes down to the fact that most pics of wearable products are modeled on women if unisex. if its a macho vibe some ripped 20yo will be the model. rarely do you see any company using "regular" guys in any pics, just the estectic they tend too.

now im sure there are less men willing to post/do a photoshoot that is on the cute or vulnerable side as a whole as well.

print, photos, web pics, advertising trys to sell the product to make you look better/cuter/etc.

honestly have you seen an ad where the model doesnt add to the product, that is the reason for the model.

just my 0.02

Odd for you to see pics of men if youre not looking up gay porn. That and women are more sexualized and also women are more open to sharing their kinks. Hope this helps answer

I'd have to say that's thanks to the *ahem* porn/adult entertainment industry.

While there may well be a fairly even split of male and female abdl's the majority of them who go looking for pics or vids happen to be guys, so sites like DiaperGal and ABSource and many many others cottoned onto the fact that they can sell a lot of pics and vids of people in diapers to the abdl crowd and that girls in diapers sell best.

Many of the sites may once have started out with real abdl girls for their photo shoots but with there being a very limited number of female abdl's who would be willing to model for those sites a lot of them started simply paying random models who are not into abdl, some may not have even heard of it before, to put on a diaper and model for them.

Let's face it if you are someone considering a career in that industry would you rather get paid to have sex with a dozen people or put on a diaper and look cute.

Then there is the whole onlyfans thing and independent models who realise this is a very niche market with people who are often willing to spend quite a bit of money to get what they want, it's remarkably easy to put on a diaper and pout for a camera and poses much less physical risk than regular porn. Quite a lot of the models on there are not really into abdl and only "dress up" for the camera to make money from the often quite 'desperate to find love' abdl guys. (though there are genuine ones out there).

Well this is a generalization, but if you go through ads, most will use popular people(celebs), models (look a certain way), and rarely would you find something outside that general trend for traditional media. Yes there are the ones that advertise they dont, but not the majority.

We are about 50/50 male and female, but as a general rule yet (and is getting better) women are cute and men are manly.

Now, is there an exception, yes and plenty.

But now take that average into niche area and you get number wise less and less of the outliers.

As the original ?
Have you seen many ads for diapers with say a 50yo dad body (as its been coined, a bit of a beer belly). I dont see many for ads for sure. So when the largest qty of published pics are from ads, there is a significent disperagy in the gender as well as typically women can do cute in ads more than men

Is it right, no, should be 50/50, but nothing is perfect. it's way better than back in the 70's that is for sure.

Nothing is fair, i mean women get like 15-20% less pay for the same job, why! In todays world that still isnt called for.

We are getting better, but still a long way to go.

Now, i'm sure there are alot of models/actors (male here) that wouldnt do a shoot for a diaper. There are still a lot of people hiding they are gay/bi/etc so it's not limited to just this one area.

But, yes i think some the reasons from som people saying no to pics that arent manly, to advertising not asking for men, to just the marketing department being stuck in older ways all limit the exposure.
As for diapers, i'd say that it's most likely weighted into male side a bit in the ABDL arena, so it's actually further off than say being 50/50 men/women in print.

Now, it's where the populus is as a whole at this point in time, and changes every year.

You can help this though, if places are not doing what you like, do buy from them, that isnt just for diapers, that is overall. Put your pocketbook into the fight, tha makes change usually quick

When it comes to advertising yeah, there is a different emotional response no matter how open minded or accepting a person may be.

Regardless of the product being advertised, women upon seeing other women in advertising typically subconsciously see themselves in it that person, They are more likely to think "hey that could be me" or "maybe I could be that cute/sexy/strong" and "I want to be that person" etc.

Whereas guys are a bit more enclosed about who or what they want to see, so for a product like diapers which would generally be considered a weakness or 'soft,' when guys see an advert with another guy wearing them they don't think "hey he looks smart in that" or "ooo I want to be like him" they are simply put off, they don't want to have seen it and so the mind shuts it out which is the opposite of what you want an advert to do.

This comes from centuries of men being taught they have to be strong and powerful and that anything that could be a weakness should be hidden or avoided.

It's similar to how the gay community has been shunned and persecuted in the past, for a very long time guys have been raised in a society where them looking at other guys is considered disgusting and wrong and while this view has existed for lesbian women too, it's to a much lesser extent, generally with the more "ideal looking" women being held up as an example for other women on how to look/dress/act etc. Being put on display specifically to be seen.

The world may be slowly changing in modern times which is great but it's still going to be a while yet before we can push out these negative views completely and reach a point of total gender equality. This is something you mostly hear women arguing/fighting for and yes women have had it tougher with less rights for a long time but there are an equal number of things that guys have been unable to do/say/be because society said it's not right.

There is a great book out on this by Norah Vincent called "self made man" where she wanted to prove how much easier and better men have it and tried going undercover as a guy for a year, by the end she had discovered that guys have it just as hard in many respects just in different ways.

Yes i agrree, things are mostly going towards a better place, but taking a long time to change.

I've only been around for 1/2 a centuary, and things over the last 50 years has changed to be sure, but i look back to my grandpa, born in the teens, yes 19 teens.

In his life went from horse to airplanes for the regular person, that is a major change, and things like the amount of medical changes are too many to even think about.

In the last 50, information IMHO has been the biggest change. From library books, and not even having that many books at the local library so to speak, to now you can get just about any information on your phone's screen, not all correct, but it's still informtion.

Slowly getting equal rights, but still a long way to go, this has been going on for 1000's of years, and we still arent there, seems slow to me.

Yes, thing are getting better, but we all have a long way to go, to get rid of the disperagy, judgement, and the ever issues with social/economic equality.

So, yeah, it's reflected in things as simple as noticing that thers is not equal amount of pics of things, brings things into the light a bit, which is good, and we all can work towards bettering not just humanity but life as a whole.

If you're talking about advertising / modeling, I forget where I read it, but some study that tracked the eye movements of where and how long men vs women stared at woman's physical features like breasts, hips, legs and face found that men and women check out women almost identically.

Im not looking for gay porn, but just seems that it always leans for towards women. Was just curious

Because most ABDLs are straight men. But there are all orientations and genders, if you really look.
