Crinklz M vs L?

Has anyone noticed that the large version of these seems to be thinner? I was surprised that the package of 15 for each size is similarly priced and the package is about the same size but I am wondering now looking at the L if they are thinner to make up for the larger size. Any info from the community on this?

Admittedly, my memory is a bit fuzzy on this. I initially ordered a pack of medium and large Crinklz (perhaps several years ago) to see which one fit me better (I ended up going with large, which I have continually worn for years). At any rate, the large ones have good absorbency.

I would say the L are still good just not quite as absorbent per square inch from what I can tell.
