Yeah the Walmart one is super loud and crinkly babyish.

OK keeping the Mainstays plastic sheet. It's comically loud but so childish feeling underneath kids print bed sheets.
Heat isn't bad, pretty much need AC at 70 to sleep either way with the body heat I put out.
I already have a air tight woven full case matress protector just to keep matress like new from day 1 against dead body funk, oil slicks, spills, bugs, hair, etc. So this is on top of that purely just for the little space aesthetic.

I purchased a queen sized waterproof mattress cover and it's super crinkly at Walmart. It's amazing and makes me feel so smol everytime I move. Highly recommend.
