I came across this photo in a book-
It is the only colour photo in this book, which I purchased from an Oxfam shop and is in fairly battered physical condition -
It is similar to the book 'Nursery Days' in that the female author is showing her collection of historical children's clothing. The difference is that instead of using mannequins to display them, she has used children of rich, high-status people instead.
There are a couple of little girl dresses which I really like-
I would certainly love be dressed like that!
