I can honestly say I have never been to alouette lake. That I can recall, was probably there when I was a kid but don't remember

Just dress how you normally would. If you are worried about wrinkle get a cloth backed diaper\pullup

I love Yaletown! I stayed at a friend's condo there recently near BC place and loved it. Also love Coal Harbour although it is a bit on the pricey end.
