A relatively normal dude - married, kids, career in IT, some mental disorder relating to ADHD/anxiety/depression, I love to cook, I love to write music, I like retro video games and indie games (pixel art style is always celebrated), I am a committed Christ follower, I love learning theology, philosophy (and am currently in seminary) and all sorts of odd bits and bobs of information. I see no crisis of faith arising from my proclivities - but I have to make sure I'm not making an idol of anything...diapers included.
I have been into diapers and regression since I was taken out of diapers at the age of 4. While things were confusing during the teenage years (puberty) - they've mostly been non-sexual - and I've never really felt bad about liking them or felt alone. I have Jerry Springer to thank à la E's Talk Soup about the ABDL community and the now defunct DPF. I learned quickly that there were other people who liked these things too. The internet was much younger then - it was an exciting time.
I have sought to understand the "why" behind my desire to be babied and diapered. I think being able to articulate it intelligently can be very helpful in allowing others to understand. But I also believe you should discern who you decide to share it with. It's an odd thing wanting to be scholarly with something that basically equates to being an infantile adult - but it can only advance the conversation and I have found great comfort in wading through the psychology of it.
My wife is supportive - but isn't very involved. She'd rather this than any other potential vice. She gets the want to feel nurtured from time to time. I am thankful for that and for her. My kids know nothing about it...and hopefully I can keep it that way.
I'm an open book and I love to interact with folks with similar interests who speak in full sentences! While we play baby - we are adults and we have the privilege of a grasp of the English language!
