What pulled you into becoming a babyfur/diaperfur? How did it start?

What started it for me was being put back into diapers around 8 years old for pooping in my underwear multiple times, till I was finally taken to the store and had to walk down the diaper aisle, and choose my diapers, all the while my hand is pulling at the back of my pants where a nice warm mess was in my underwear. Thats what started the magic for me.

Some of my earliest memories include diapers and wanting them. I really have no idea where my ABDL side came from.

And on the other hand, I’m quite certain I can credit ADISC for my furriness. I knew very little of furries when I joined, but suddenly I was immersed in cute, diapered anthro animals. Furry seemed to fit like a glove over ABDL, and I loved the idea of expressing my little side that way. It took some time though. Call me lazy or patient (they both probably apply), but I let the ideas accumulate over years and got my first art commission only about six months ago—about eleven years after joining ADISC and choosing the name Cottontail, heh.

So in some ways I’m a fur-noob and in other ways not. I’m having a lot of fun with it though.

I was a furry before I was AB even. I didn't really knew furries were also ABDL until I joined here I guess. I've been DL since I was young though.

Wow that's a question I haven't thought about in years. I started drawing babyfurs, as I recall, in 6th grade. I copied the styles of Toddlergirl/Babystar & TaviMunk especially closely back then lol. Once I turned 13, I was able to *somehow* convince my mom to allow me access to my own FurAffinity & DeviantART accounts (god how I miss early 2010s FA & DA). I had been mesmerized by Toddlergirl's "Found" comic which was quite new at the time beforehand (around the time I started to draw babyfurs in 6th grade/summer of 7th grade).

My first character, made at age 12, was an orange housecat, named Sarah Katz (while Sarah is my deadname, it is still the name of my OC, Sarah Katz... just don't refer to ME as Sarah, thx). She wore Pull-Ups and was 4ish in my headcanon for a long time. A few years later I aged her up to 6 iirc (kindergarten age anyway) and at that point she didn't wear padding anymore.


The age regression/childish side of me has been a part of my being since around age 9, and I had been drawing anthro characters (furries) since I was a small child. It sorta makes sense that they'd intertwine sooner or later lol.

For me i kimda became each side seperatly then joined them like i became a furry about 2 years ago and within the past year i started to age regress as a coping mechanism and the diaper side of everything just helps me feel and stay little

What I remember is that I was just a furry. Then I developed IC and started wearing diapers. Well, I had worn them and loved them. Then I came across some babyfur art on FurAffinity.net. And that's when it all started.

I've always loved dogs and wolves and any media featuring them so I have basically always been a furry. I thought I was alone in liking furry stuff until I found the fandom. I've also always been interested in diapers (for the full story see my intro post). So when I found the babyfur/diaperfur community I was immediately drawn to it because it combined two things that I liked into one.

I’m a serial bedwetter, I grew out of bed wetting… well actually I didn’t. I just took a haiatus. I missed having normal sleepovers.
I converted to furry in 2008 but never stopped needing padding. :/

I was a furry for so long, and as a kid when I was like 10 I found diaper art and started drawing babyfurs a lot because I thought they were cute (though I also roleplayed as a babyfur too so I guess that was there for a while). I fully blame Looney Tunes Babies for this (kidding!), but I just always liked furries and being a ABDL as I grew older seemed to work into it well.

For me It was like this:

- Bedwetter until 8 years old.
- ABDL started at 11 years old. Because of some newborn diapers that my mom found and got to the house and my curiosity did the rest.
- Furry Bear as a way to try to not hate myself and leaving my DL days aside at 13 years old after my wetting experimentation
- Purge cycle until 28 years old.
- Trans Woman exploration between 28 and 33 years old. I changed my fursona to a vixen as a reflection of the change.
- Babyfur Kitsune totally free to do like I want today at 34 years old.

I think that not only I was using being a Furry to not use regular porn to control my hormones as a teen.
As I was getting more and more depressed and hating the world because of bullying (I really hated the people and I couldn't trust no one), I used the Furry community to escape and survive.

When I was in middle school I had a random dream that awakened my ABDL side and I started fantasizing about wearing diapers. I was embarrassed by it and I didn't want to have an obsession with diapers.

When I was in high school I was an idiot teen who hated humanity and didn't want to even be a human so I would fantasize about becoming a werewolf or a dragon. After high school I was basically just using these fantasies to try and ignore my diaper obsession. I think it was also around this time that I started fantasizing about being a baby or toddler just so I had a reason to be wearing diapers.

It didn't take long after that for diapers to end up making their way into a fantasy I was having about being an anthropomorphic wolf. I didn't like it at first because I wanted to keep the diaper fantasies away from everything else but I then realized that I liked it more than thinking about either one on their own. I then started fantasizing about diaperfur stuff more and more after that and started to fantasize about babyfur stuff as well.

When I was in elementary school, I'd fantasize about being a cartoon animal, and one of those fantasies would be about being a cartoon baby animal. (Of course, this was too young to know, then)
Fast forward to middle school, my ABDL side started to come alive.
Then in High School, a friend told me about the furry fandom, so I took a look on YouTube and found clips of AnthroCon/FWA. These clips, the memories of the fantasies, and my ABDL side lead me to become a Littlefur!

I always loved strange Baby shows like Toopy and Bino, My little Pony and Pretty much any Australian show they would put on TVO here in Canada like Bananas in Pajamas. As for when I got into the more….Adult aspects of ABDL that would be when I read The New Job by CK Crinklekid (Infact I became long distace friends with CK) and just loved the Idea so much that I took the plunge and bought ABDL Diapers

I think it was circa 2009-2010 I started getting the idea that I wanted a warmer Halloween costume because where I live it gets rather cold around Halloween. I started looking into acquiring a mascot costume and the ones I could potentially afford to buy weren't all that great, then I found out about custom fursuits. They're great and can get one in pretty much any color pattern/style but they tend to be prohibitively expensive.

I discovered the babyfur community around this time as well and thought it might be fun to create a fursona of my own. It took maybe a day or two for me to decide I wanted to be a wolf. The name took about 1-2 weeks and the only name I could think of was taking the words PAW and WOLF then combining them to make the name. I thought it kind of a stupid name at first but I rolled with it since I was unable to come up with anything else. I never went on to get a fursuit for myself but do enjoy role playing as a wolf pup as doing so has helped me cope with depression and other life's challenges.

I can relate to the name thing. After putting it off for a while, I finally made my fursona at the end of 2020 and I still don't have a name for my sona.

On other social media, I find that majority of the people are babyfurs instead of pure AB/DLs. Quite a revelation for me. My fursuit is in production as we speak.

Initially I was only a DL which stems from bedwetting issues when I was younger.i had no idea what furry was until a friend of mine showed me the art and I was sucked in. DL furry and caffeine are my vices. They don't necessarily overlap but I hope to commission some diapered art.
