It became my prefered little theme because I was old enough to just barely miss out on it when it came out.

So I get to experience it for the first time with no nostalgia bias. And because it came out late for me it's always going to have "that's silly kid's stuff" tagged in my brain where as Mario and stuff that I grew up with always gets a pass as merely being retro.

So it's perfect lol. I get to live something that my brain permanently tags as childish that I've never experienced before. So it's new and not boring and hammers my little buttons. It's great.

Secret of NIMH is good too as i remember watching when i was like 10 in the movie theater.

Never was a huge fan of disney when i was young...didnt watch many movies as a child, did more things in person back in ye old times

OMG I forgot this one. I used to be obsessed with Great Mouse Detective, American Tail, Secret of NIMH, etc. As a kid I read all the NIMH books multiple times and named my pet ratty Isabel after one of the characters. I'd also beg for American Tail and Great Mouse Detective books every time there was one of those book fair things where you could check the boxes and order from a catalog.

Was obsessed with mice and rats as a kid, just thought they were the **cutest**.

Awesome. I know some children's books I can get for my little bedroom now.
