Just what do you consider "around SLC"?
I am in the central Rocky Mountains, USA.
SLC is kind of on the edge of the Wasatch Front of the Rocky Mountains, bordered by the Great Basin and the Great Salt Lake. The eastern front is in Colorado by Denver and Colorado Springs. On the western front, lies a great desert headed into Nevada. On the eastern front lies the midwestern plains.
I amsomewhere in the middle.
