I ran a thread about being a celebrity Sissy Baby Superstar, no one wanted to be famous for being a sissy baby like me.
As far as being outed I am going through a experience where my neighbor lady and two other women who wear diapers now know that I am wearing. They are friends with both my wife and I and they are all my age or older. My wife is 12 years my senior and of course knows i am ABDL. I really have no idea where this is going, probably no where. But in two months I have came on ADISC forum and "met" other ABDL people and in the past week three women now know i wear diapers. Other than my wife no one else has known my intire life. Years ago I read a story in a CD magazine. An aspiring actor told everyone that he was trying out for a bit part in a movie and the character was a cross dressed man. That way he could go out in public in front of people who knew him to learn how to be an acceptable woman. Nice scenario.

I've used versions of that Stanislavsky "method acting" scenario in some of the stories I've written over the last 30 years. Sometimes it's a boy discovering his inner female self for the first time. Other stories it's a teen or older male being able to expose his deepest secret. Always so close to the truth for many of us.

I will say NO.
But down in Boston, MA a few years ago at Downtown Crossing, I did see a guy dressed as a Sissy Adult Baby being led around via a thick leather dog collar and steel chain leash.
The Sissy was all in pink, with a HELLO KITTY leather handbag.

I would be close to suicidal if it was outed that I like to wear diapers and enjoy wearing some feminine articles of clothing. i am perhaps an unusual sissy in that i have no interest in humiliation. I wear for the pure enjoyment of the wearing. The thought of being humiliated, for me at least, would be an absolute horror.

and how did that go?. I think being outed is fine if you have say a mentor or person to support and encourage this.. where as on your own, it must be quite lonely if it goes wrong and you end up being alienated from everyone and feel like you have been exiled from freind's family, work , neighbours etc
