My cooking skills are pretty good as I have been at it for a very long time. Tonight I was, out busy with errands and ran into old friends so it was a very long chat followed by a very large Pizza. I don't like to eat as late as 7:30-8:00 PM unless in a fancy restaurant with friends but we all just went with whatever was the closest and not as expensive. Great Pizza and a Jose Cuervo Margarita will make for an interesting evening.

The fair food both of us ended up eating Island Noodles with Teriyaki Chicken. It wasn't too bad really and one of the healthier fair foods 😊 !!!

Had it lunch time Sausage mash and tinned tomatoes

From your photo it looks pretty good, certainly better than deep fried bacon or anything else they deep fry at the Fairs.

Tonight’s menu is seafood pasta and heavily buttered crusty bread.

Pretty soon I’ll have to size up to large disposable nappies 😉

Cauliflower cheese. I made a seperate roux and cheese sauce. Then for the filling fried garlic bacon and diced cauliflower. Glased the pan with some red wine then mix the two chop with cheese and bang under the grill (broiler)

Put a roast of beef in the Crockpot for tonight, need to get some yard work done then make roasted potato's, carrots and onions.

That is like the main menu item, the Chief, all others pale in comparison. You only eat that and nothing else except maybe bread & butter. That is my usual summer lunch with a good English Cheddar and some fresh bread.

Sunday today so it was Roast chicken, roast potatoes, green beans and cauliflower today.
