Was so busy running errands today that dinner was later than usual. Stopped at a local pub & had Fish & Chips but I only ate half. I think I was way past hungry and should have just gone home and had soup or grilled cheese.

Chef’s plate of smoked ribs, chicken, beef burnt ends and beef short ribs with mixed vegetables and apple sauce washed down with a beer at a BBQ place in KC.

Stir fry with spicy fish and rice. Tomorrow hosting some bridge friends of my mothet in law. They had better be appreciative of my home made pizzas.

Been hmming and ahhing nearly all day about what to have. Saw Michael Portillo's Indian Railways thing, yesterday, and that put me in the mood for something exotic. Almost chose the madras route, but I hadn't frozen the chicken breasts (freezing kills the bugs, apparently). Didn't want to break into a tin of Spam so close to weekend (wastage).
Then I remembered that I got some cheesey burgers from Aldi; burger, beans and garlic bread, it is.

WOW usually a great variety of food at County Fairs. We have one coming up soon that I may check out. Not been to one since before Covid.

Sounds like you're going out to eat more than cooking at home.
I do most of the cooking at home because it's practical as I am home earlier than gf. Luckily I do like cooking too! How are your cooking arrangements?
