    Prefolds Help

Not sure if it would work for you, but you could always try folding the top of the front or back in to shorten the length.

    rearz omutsu cloth diaper

I have a pair of the omutsu rubber pants and a pair of the leakmaster ones. The Rearz ones seem to work better, but the the Leakmaster ones are a lower cut, so easier to cover up.

    rearz omutsu cloth diaper

I have some of them, and like them. Be sure to get a waterproof cover for them if you intend to use them as they are not waterproof at all. Just be sure to wash them before use and keep the fabric softener well away from them. My only complaint has been drying them, but was able to solve that by...

    Drying cloth diapers

Bluegrey and Moosey, I wish more people knew about that discharge line needing regular cleaning. I ran rigid pipe for mine to help avoid any buildup, still check it every year though. I'll give the 2 runs of 60 minutes like Dogboy recommended a try.

    Drying cloth diapers

Does anyone have any advice on reliably getting cloth diapers dry? The dry sensor thing on my dryer, which works well for everything else, doesn't seem to work with my cloth diapers. I've tried adding towels(including every one in the house), and they come out still feeling a bit damp. The cloth...

    shenanigans

And here I was thinking that the purpose of catnip tea was to stop your cat from trying to steal your coffee.

    shenanigans

Speaking of lawns, did you know that dandelions can make a nice salad from their leaves, a tea or flour from the root(depending on how you use it), and wine from the flowers? Only drawback, it takes a LOT of those flowers to make a batch of wine.

I must be doing cloth diapers wrong

A water proof cover is essential with cloth diapers to prevent wicking, and also to give a chance for any leaks to absorb back in. For the inserts, you can place them in front or middle, but they work best if placed where needed, which can take some experimentation.

    What helps you sleep?

To fall asleep, I just have to lay down and close my eyes, and can usually get a decent nights sleep that way. To get a really good nights sleep, one Mike's Hard Lemonade(I'm a major lightweight) within an hour or so of going to bed, and I'm dead to the world. Plus side is I wake up in the...

    Diaper drying advice

Thank you. The medium heat combined with towels did the trick. One run with the sensor coupled with a second timed run for 30 minutes did the trick perfectly. I never did realize that a tumble dryer works better with more in it.

    Diaper drying advice

I got myself some Rearz Omutsu cloth diapers and a cover(I take care of the cover by hand) which I am really liking. However, I have repeatedly run into an issue while drying the diapers. If I set mey dryer to the sensor dry(which I normally use for other clothing without issue), they still feel...

Cloth diaper, where to buy and recommendations

Lately, I've really wanted to get some cloth diapers, but I'm really not sure where to order from or what brands to look for. I'm also not sure about sizing for the cloth. My goto disposable is large Better Dry, with Abena L4 being my backups, in case that helps with sizing and brand for cloth...

    Advice for going to movie

As much as a trench coat would help with coverage and covering up, given more recent events, I think that it would actually draw attention to you, and not in a good way.

Have you ever thought about warming up with your disposable diapers

Sounds like an interesting idea, but I'd be worried about possible creosote(the source of chimney fires) formation in your chimney from the added moisture, as well as possible damage from the other "compounds" in a used diaper.

    any rocket sciencetists?

Theoretically, yes. In practice though, in order to have enough thrust, you would be flirting with a lot of regulations due to the amount of propellant involved and the potential consequences of something going wrong. Out of curiosity, what are you trying to fly to 500ft?
