I’m sure there is a detailed post on here or YouTube video. Basically, you peel off the cloth layer and carefully the elastic strips. I slice some holes in the exposed plastic side so the liquid can flow better. Position the nappy carefully as the adhesive often sticks it in place.

I had surgery in 2003 on my leg. I had neither a catheter or nappy/bed pad. It wasn’t even discussed. What was discussed, was me staying the night and that post-surgery a catheter might be needed. when I woke up from the surgery, I felt fine and was home by dinner time.

Attends is still available in UK/EU and is my favourite. They are very soft still and have great absorbency. I don’t notice the smell when I put on my nappy creme and powder but after just taking a sniff, it does remind me slightly like a earlier pampers!
