Also, some browsers have a "do not track" function that disables targeted ads on that browser. I doubt this affects cookies or IP addresses, but it's worth a mention.

I did manage to turn that on. Although it said it's a do not track ''request'' and the effect it has depends on how the website chooses to honor it.

It's pretty normal for me to see diaper ads on my own computer, it was just that it showed up on my dad's that caught me off-guard.
