I finally found something that has the same exact smell as the Pampers did back when I was a kid in the 80s. Wife and I got some of the Wal-Mart brand baby wipes for my daughter, the "Parents Choice" and Oh, My, God! That's It!
I put a bunch of them in the drawer with all my diapers, and wow, now they have that heavenly scent! It goes away after a short while, but man, when I first opened up that diaper drawer!
