i5 2500k overclocked to 4.3. Geforce 560ti. 8 gigs of ram. No SSD yet. :-(

I'm, surprised that I still have the 560ti. It still works well for modern games, but I want to upgrade later this year so I can crank up the resolution on new releases. Down sampling is so much better than Anti Aliasing.
Heh, I'm still stuck with a 560 (non-ti) as well. Although I did swap my Core2Q for an i7-4790k last year there is simply no game I need more graphics for. I was on the edge for the 970, but since the exchange rates drove it's price up I might as well wait what the next couple of months will bring in terms of games and hardware. Witcher3 and GTAV can wait.

That is an awesome room! I am looking to get a media center PC for my living room soon. The cool controllers are a nice touch. The posters make that room a perfect gamercave. I also love your bedroom. Its really cute.

i5-3350P, $135
12GB RAM, $35 (8GB was a gift)
3TB Seagate HDD, $90
250GB WD HDD, $27
MSI Radeon 7870, $55
AsRock Pro3 Z75 motherboard, $75
Corsair CX600 PSU $40
Corsair 200R case, $40
4x Cougar fans, $30

So around $410 for the current incarnation of my desktop.

I'll post pics of my new setup when I get it finished. We are almost finished my basement and my man cave will be down there. I have ordered a huge desk to fit my monitors and my computer. I also have LED strip lighting to use around my desk for ambient awesomeness. The final part will be my video game posters. I am getting some metal prints for Skyrim, Fallout, and Bioshock. They are going to look sooo good. I can't wait until its all done!

My current set up is:

Gigabyte 990fxa-umd5 mobo
AMD Phenom X6 1100T black edition
I got it Oc'd to 4.5 ghz stable (managed to wire up a Liquid CPU cooler out of an Alienware Aurora Desktop)
16 GB Kingston HyperX 1600 ddr3 Oc'd to 1866
I have two GTX 560ti 448 core ver running in SLI
CORSAIR HX Series HX850 850W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
Sony 24'' 240hz 3DTV 1080p LED -- 3D type: Active shutter
I still need to get a SSD, and I want a new case, maybe fractal... full-size either way.

I want to start another build but I'm thinking I'll wait until am4 comes out (which I heard from NCIX, is going to be this year!)
It's a nice build and It did not cost close to the amount a pre-built desktop

My current setup

CPU: Intel I7 4790k @4.5ghz

Here are the specs for the new PC that my mom bought for us back in March 2015 :). I don't play games on it though.

I know it's not very impressive, but it's still alot better than our old Dell Dimension 2350 that I was forced to use for nearly 12 years.

System Info:
PC Model: HP 110-326 Desktop
Motherboard: Hewlett Packard 2AFB (Ivy Bridge)
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU: Intel Pentium G2100T @ 2.60 GHz Dual Core
Video Card: Intel HD Graphics 2500 (1920x1080x32bpp 60Hz)
Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio
RAM (Memory): 4.0 GB Single Channel DDR3 @ 665 MHz
HDD Space: 500 GB Western Digital Caviar (SATA III)
Network Adapter: Realtek USB FE Family Controller @ 100.0 Mbps

Oh, god, this is probably going to sound pathetic, but here are the specs of the two computers I mainly play games on:

I use a Power Mac G4 for mac gaming (not a huge gamer, but one here and there is nice)

466MHz single processor
768MB RAM
128MB nVidia GeForce 4 Titanium
160GB total HDD space
LG 22x DVD-RW drive
apple pro keyboard graphite
microsoft intellimouse 3.0
apple 15" studio display

I also use an older PC for DOS and old Windows gaming (Compaq Deskpro 2000 I got off eBay a few years ago for $19):
133MHz intel Pentium 1 CPU
32MB EDO RAM
1MB Cirrus Logic 5436 onboard PCI graphics card
2.5GB Western Digital Caviar HDD
3.5" floppy drive and DVD burner
microsoft media keyboard and random PS/2 mouse

heh, I have a few Pentium 4's and such lying around but I don't really use them that much.

Loving Your Mac setup I use to own a power Mac G5

Ah yes, good ol' G4 gaming. I loved my 17" PowerBook (1.67GHz, 2GB, 100GB, Super, 10.5.8), but it died a couple years back. What I'd do to get her back up and running so that I can play all of my mac games again!

A G5! I'd love to get one of those! I also have an iMac G4 15" and a PowerBook 160

Noctua NF-S12A PWM 120mm Case Fan

NZXT SEN-MIX2 Sentry Mix 2 Fan Controller

Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro - 64-bit - OEM

Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 - Standard - 1 PC / 2YR

That's my system. I don't know why Windows 8.1 Pro runs faster than Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OEM. I tried a couple of things but 8.1 still beats it. I had to buy the parts at different times and finally got it together. The video card was the most expensive part. Took a lot of savings but its finally done.

YAY!! About 10 minutes ago I just bought a nice dual-processor G5 off eBay. Going to pick it up within the next few days! I'm so excited (in case you couldn't tell) I've been using my old G4 as my main computer for about a year and while I love it to pieces, it's showing it's age really quite badly these days.. Maybe I'll stick Mac OS 9 on it and just dedicate it completely to retro gaming :) :)

Unfortunately it looks like has a dead logic board/CPU(s).

But a friend gave me the parts to build a new system, which I did a couple of weeks ago:

3.00GHz Single-core Pentium 4
4GB DDR-400 RAM
nVidia GeForce FX5200 128MB
~1.08TB storage
DVD-RW, CD-RW
3.5" HD floppy drive
TV tuner/video capture PCI card and a bunch of other random PCI cards.
Windows 2000 Professional

apart from the cpu, heatsink and ram I got it all for free ^_^
