Good place to find munches/events?

i'm lost man, i been traveling everywhere online to find some local munches where i live but everything im finding is years old info and some of the emails to these munches don't even work. Why is this so difficult? I know fetlife is an option but i have no idea how to use that website and everytime i tried using it i ended up just clicking out before i really did anything note worthy. My question is, what website is currently good to use to find these munches/events
