Abdl Pull Ups

What should be a real ABDL pull ups ? in which way ?

I think they pretty much just need a cute design that's aimed towards slightly older audiences, a fade when wet design would be sweet, and decent leak guards. Going to be an unpopular opinion here but it doesn't need to hold a stupid amount, a normal pull-up is only designed to hold one or two wettings, and a lot of the people actually asking for them are accepting of that.

I think that ABDL pull-ups should have colored sides, positional prints, cloth backing, lots of padding and higher absorbency.

Yeah part of the hassle of making abdl pull ups are the fact that it's hard to make them hold up the weight that a normal nappy could

I imagine dealing with copyright would be a problem but somehow having cartoon like designs would be great

Abdl pullups should be a higher absobency. Only positional prints didnt have to be there.

To me it's surprising that no one has done it yet. You get such a $ premium for abdl diapers. You think one of them would be the first to come up with an abdl pull-up. Closest thing that I'm aware of would be the GoSupreme in pink or the Felicity but both of those are really closer to medical than abdl in my view.

This sounds like an awesome idea! It's always been really weird to me when I see people wanting their pull-ups to hold the same amount as a tape-up diaper. The point of a pull-up (for kids anyway) is that it's meant to be worn in case an accident happens while potty training, it's not meant to be worn like a regular diaper that is designed without the idea of potty training in mind. I'm not sure if that made any sense lol

I think having a his / hers design that was more pattern based would suffice. It seems like characters would limit who would buy.

I wish we could have ABDL pull-ups with licensed characters on them. I’m wearing My Little Pony Pampers Easy Ups but I can’t wear them properly because they don’t fit I’d give anything for an adult sized pull-up with Rainbow Dash on it

A pull up that is cloth backed, has cool/cute designs or characters, tall leak guards, doesn’t have a top layer that goes to my chest lol, and has padding from lower back to all the way front covering the whole bum.

Engineering wise:

I think with absorbency I get and agree with the comments saying they don't need to be as absorbent as the crazy tape up diapers now available, but a good capacity is still needed, if you are aiming at the ABDL market rather than IC users then higher capacity than what is currently available in medical brand pull ups definitely. No matter how much an ABDL person might understand that pull ups are meant for smaller amounts they are still likely to end up flooding them.

I think high standing Leak guards on the sides would be important for this as pull ups do tend to sag more because of the elastics and that should help contain things. I also think cloth backed is much more appropriate than plastic backed, pull ups are meant to feel/seem more like big kid pants so smooth plastic outer should not be used. However something that will still crinkle and rustle a bit would be good.

Potentially slightly thicker sides and although I imagine it is patented, hook and loop easy open sides something similar to these.

If done right this could actually really help with adult pull ups much more than children's because it means that when they are a bit wet and getting heavier, if they start to sag you could potentially tighten up the sides by reconnecting it further back.

Some brands of children's pull up have a little tape on the back that you can use to secure a wet rolled up one when disposing, this would be nice to see.

Potentially male and female variations with more of the absorbent materials in the right areas for either gender, might help them work a bit better but the print designs would have to be available in both to not upset people so that could be a pain.

Wetness indication, anyway would be fine but a fading print is best as it makes you want to change to get the picture back.

Aesthetic wise:

A range of prints suitable for any "age", but keep it simple, too many companies go over the top trying to fill the outer with all sorts. Though one important design feature I feel has to be the work "back" on the back side, most children's pull ups I see have this to help them getting used to dressing themselves.

I mean Bambino’s is too small cause all they have right now is small, and I want more than just a girly look.

My idea of an ABDL pull-up is essentially better more ABDL version of XL Goodnites. There would be better sizes but the idea would be the same just a little improved. I would like more absorbency to handle an actual wetting. Aesthetics would need to be more babyish because especially with the new Goodnites XL redesign, it's not gonna make the cut. Leak guards would also need to be a bit better. No plastic or anything because that's not keeping the essence of a pull-up so just keep everything cloth.

DO NOT USE the "Granny Panty" sides/exterior! After that, make them so they start out "snug" and remain snug throughout the number of hours they'll be used. If you can make one to handle my uncontrollable heavy wetting for 3-4 hours at a time, I definitely can see benefits to wearing them in certain instances. Only issue with me is that I will NOT wear printed diapers, so maybe offer them in plain colors, and NOT pink, light blue etc. Navy, Grey or even white work just fine. You can have a HUGE market with the right design and options for the AB faction and then those for those of us living with UIC! Gold mine waiting to be struck!
