Doctor/medical insurance coverage

So, ive recently became inconsistent or whatever the turm is idk im dum, & i wanna know how I can go about getting diapers covered through medical & how the process went, In Canada BC

IF you TRULY need them, a phone call or two will lead you to who you need to speak with. IF on the other hand, you Don't PHYSICALLY REQUIRE diapers and go after this, there is something REALLY wrong with you.

Generally I am not this "forward" with my replies, but with all of the people in the world who NEED every single minimal amount of "HELP" they can get in order to live, the thought of ANYONE abusing the system INFURIATES ME to no end.

Now, I am NOT saying you don't actually qualify. It's simply the way you wrote this that leads me to believe that you likely do not. DON'T take away from those who NEED!

Here's a good idea. IF you want diapers THAT BADLY, sell your x-Box. They're in constant demand and will leave you with enough to buy a top tier case of diapers! I'm certain you have other "goodies" that you can sell in short order.

For a good portion of 20 years, I (personally) was in a position that I NEEDED every ounce of help I could get. Thankfully, I am in the top 1-3% of my field and even though taking on jobs I physically should NEVER had taken on, I STILL managed to pay for everything I needed as well as having enough left over to buy some WANTS. I put myself in the hospital at least a couple dozen times and my Dr's were PISSED OFF AT ME, with good reason, once they learned how I injured myself. IF I was able to survive that stage of my life, I have ZERO DOUBT that so can you. The only people who can't take care of this kind of need is the person who is literally incapable of doing much of anything for themself the vast majority of the time.

I know this may very well be a very bitter pill to swallow, but PLEASE, unless I misread your intent, you don't come across as a person who is at the mercy of the goodness in others. despite our politicians claiming that there is a "lot of help" readily available out there to those who need it, it takes CONSTANT VIGILANCE to even stand a remote chance of receiving those NEEDS. The thought of someone, ANYONE, taking advantage of that makes me want to jump in my truck and give them a valid reason to NEED all of the assistance they are asking for.

Most insurance companies will not cover diapers. They do cover catheters and other such items.

I do need them as ive been having accidents & at times i can't make it to the bathroom, "If you assume u make an ass out of u and me" ive been having bladder problems one reason is trauma & i forgot what the docs said about me having accidents.

NO! Im not selling my Xbox as it helps my stress & depression. Sure i want m edical coverage but i need it also as im no longer on disability pay i cant get diapers myself i was cut off disability benefits when I was younger my Mom cut me off it

i get vary bad anxiety attacks when I have to go to public places with lots people. I can't function properly maybe if you took thee time to actually check out my pf u'd see a bit of what caused me to become agoraphobic i think the turm is. Im a shutin NEET. The mind & body & heart needs each other to wrk proprly if one is injurd then can have effect on othrs, cause-and-effect

It's not a quick system you will be buying your own diapers for a while still

Talk to your family doctor. They will send you for some tests
Urinalysis & ultrasound
from those results they may send you to a urologist. if things look abnormal and don't just have a bladder infection otherwise your doc will just give you antibiotics
They will run additional tests
Cystoscopy (camera up your urethra to look in your bladder)

Urodynamics you pee on a special toilet. including getting a cath to empty your bladder & fill your bladder with saline while under xray / ultrasound

if you don't have acute injuries to growths

your urologist will start you on a medication and or recommend a surgical procedure
if that doesn't work they will try additional medications and or surgical procedures

this whole process will take about 2 years

once nothing works you can speak to your urologist about getting incontinence supplies

get you connected with health link BC
from there you go on a wait list

you will have multiple interviews and have to do a bathroom diary and likely an other Urinalysis
then you might get approved for incontinence supplies
depending on your income level you might have a co-pay of some sort
then you will get a specific list of approved products to choose from
if you make too much money you won't qualify.

then after 1-2 years you have to apply again as they are checking if you healed or still require diapers

MAYBE you would had led with this information instead of coming here with a name like MY CROTCH asking where to get free diapers! How did you get your X-Box? You buy it? That buys a lot of diapers.

I mean, I NEED HUGE speakers that rattle pictures from my neighbor's walls (and I'm on an acre) and I also need a car that goes 0-60 in under 3 seconds and runs low 11/high 10 second 1/4 miles, on street tires. No one's lining up to give me either, so we're similar on that front. I just don't believe what I'm reading as someone who NEEDS help generally says why.

If I am wrong, you have my apology.

so the question to the original poster of this would be, what do you mean your mom cut you off from disability money? Are you talking about Social Security? Are you based in the US? And also are you now an adult? Because that means now you need to look into this and see if you can get back on Social Security. Will help you qualify for a whole lot of things. Unfortunately, one of those is not Diapers. It would at least allow you to possibly be able to afford to buy your own though.

I had gotten it when I was on assistant living i had 700$ a month rent was only 100$ was staying with a family member. The rest was for living& stuff so id save some$ tel i could get the xb & i used some for diapers & food, but i got cut off of that cause i moved & i didnt change address when supposed too, look y r u being a jerk? Know what YOU might not believe me but i do need the help, i didn't state why cause i forgot to, i forget alot its why i got cut off income assistants

when i was younger i was on disability where my mom would get 1k$ or so for me. We ended up moving around in CA so i got cut off disability

im in Canada, theres income assistants wich is for $ untill that person gets a job & they give a paper for companys 2 sign to prove that thy lookin 4 job. Then disability benefits is for the disabled, i have adhd autism to the point were i couldn't get/hold a job, & depression & trauma has a part in it

I am now confind to home, get really bad anxiety & I've been wetting on & off bed since highschool prob soonr i cant remember but i used to take goodnites from cousins im deslexic & agorphobiac truama really did numbrs on me.
 
i had a job for a week but got let go due to my mind not where needed to durin job, id space out, forget to do a task or get destracted by anoter thing/task & durn tryn to help costomers id space out & they'd make complans to my boss cause i wouldn't be help but @ times wen i didnt space out etc boss said I was a great workr
 
Also kirk. My usrname is mike rotch cause i try to joke through the pain. & having a name like that is an atemt on my part to try make me smile even if it's just for a sec...
 
From my experience. You will need to be seeing a doctor for the issue, and most likely also a specialist. You will need to go though process to make it better or find out why it’s happening. Turns out it’s not fixable you may be able to find a way for them to pay for them.
If you have randomly started having accidents you need to see a doctor and speak to them about it. It could be a pelvic floor issue, nerves, or kidneys so get it checked out.

think it might b stress/trauma/nerves ill be seeing a doctor for a full check up
