Alternatives to Desitin

I get diaper rash very easily and Desitin always seems to help, but I really don't like how it smells. Are there any good alternatives that can heal diaper rash quickly but smell better than Desitin?

You can always try A and D ointments. It is more of a Vaseline type consistency and doesn't have the smell like Destin.

I’ve been using Desitin maximum in the 1 pound tub for quite a while and I haven’t noticed the smell, but I don’t have a particularly acute sense of smell. The one thing that I do appreciate about is it doesn’t seem to cause hardening of my plastic pants if it comes into contact with them as some diaper rash ointments do.

Check out "Triple Paste" it is thicker than Desitin, has no odor that I can smell and works very well. There's also Butt Paste, A&D...... you have no lack of options in this market. I use Resinol when I have any irritation or worse, and Triple Paste the majority of the time though I do use Desitin as that's what the VA sends me. Free is good LOL.
