Am I allowed to post about an item I am selling?

I don't want to break forum rules. But I have a single item I have never used that might be of interest to others here that I want to sell, because I won't use it. I am not in the business of selling items of this sort, nor do I plan to do so. I simply bought it and decided not to use it. So I'd like to get some of my money back.

If I get an OK, I will provide specific info (what it is, and where I am selling it).

As long as you're not running a business I believe it's ok. Just remember to protect your privacy if that's important to you.

There are some rules you can read regarding what's allowed, and there are also some additional rules regarding actual storefront reps, but generally speaking private sales are ok. The general rule there though is don't keep making new threads for the same sales (one announcement per sale), and no unsolicited messages. (like a PM saying "I saw you liked these and I have some for sale...")
