Normally you use these kind of swimwear for fecal incontinence - how ever - they give you also a couple of second more time to jump into the water if it starts running. That work at a beach fairly well as long as you are near by the water. 😎
 
I am only urinary IC and I have found some really nice patterned yellow swim shorts that I wear on the beach. When I feel they have got a bit wet (which cannot be seen) I just go for a dip! Having said that the beaches I go to have no one else on them so I tend to go naked. If I am going on a European trip I just pack an extra suitcase of nappies with an extra day’s worth for security. I am a bit paranoid about running out. I also take a plastic sheet for the bed in case of leaks.
