Yes they do feel good to wear! I would very willingly love to be diapered by a woman or man with these diapers!

If I remember, attends were the first adult diapers sold nation wide. I could be wrong, but it was my first disposable diaper I bought

I believe Jmanyo12 asked for pictures, and I see nothing yet. Where the shiney pictures at? I've heard nothing but great things about baby diapers from the 70s and 80s.

Thicker? Yes. Patterned? In what way was the pattern presented? Lines? Dots? Diamonds? Are you trying to say you remember 80s diapers having "textured" plastic? I seem to recall that by the 80s the textured plastic of the fanfold diapers gave way to basically glossy, smooth, featureless plastic on hourglass diapers.

I consider myself somewhat of a self-titled "diaper plastic subject matter expert" due to the fact that my diaper fetish is 100% driven by the types of plastic that diapers featured ever since plastic diapers have been produced (basically since the late 60s when I was born). Basically vintage diaper plastic came with patterns and texture either imprinted (sunk) into the plastic, or with patters and texture "raised" off of the surface. When the pattern is imprinted it is called "debossed." When it is raised off of the surface it is called "embossed." I favor the "embossed" myself.

Vintage late 60s and early 70s era Pampers had a unique diamond-textured debossing to them, but mid 70s and later P&G switched to exclusive diamond embossing. First run 1978 Huggies plastic was debossed only (instead of embossed) but still diamond shaped. Kimbies had both diamond embossing as well as debossing, and J&J followed suit with diamond embossing. Generic and store brand diapers produced in the 70s usually copied Pampers design with diamond-embossing, and this even spread around the world to international brands like Babylino and babySoftex to name a few. Other international brands like Lines decided to emboss a unique dot pattern instead of a diamond pattern.

Summary: for fanfold diapers diamond-embossed plastic was the "norm."

By comparison, once hourglass diapers were all the rage and fanfold was on its way out, the diamond-embossing gave way to buttery smooth, glossy, shiny plastics (like today's plastic adult diapers although the vintage stuff was thicker and some had a very slight texture). Once Luvs brought buttery smooth plastic to the market, everyone else followed in their footsteps as well.

Summary: for hourglass diapers buttery smooth, glossy plastic was the "norm."

Now that the history lesson is out of the way, here are some photos:

Here are some closeup photos of vintage 70s era fanfold Pampers, and their "fantastic plastic" (shiny diamond-embossing) that you will not find anywhere on the Net because they were taken from my own personal stash of diapers:

You don't have any vintage diapers to meet your fetish needs??!!! Dude! You have got to stock up so that you can satisfy your urge when you get the feeling to do so. I have dozens of vintage Pampers, Babylino, and babySoftex diapers on stock so that I can play when my fetish calls. I get them on eBay and I keep on the lookout for more for when my current diapers get too worn out to bring me pleasure.

Wish I could send you some but my wife wouldn't dare to have me ship something from South Korea to wherever you live.

Here are some more closeup photos of the fantastic plastic of vintage 70s era Pampers disposable diapers!!
