these days I end up squatting a bit just as I go, but I've been the type to sit down as I do as well. any particular preference y'all have?

Hands and knees is a nice position as is on your back, knees up. Sitting on the potty/toilet with the lid up is good too. Like the feeling of the poop in my nappy between my legs but squishing is not for me.
The squishing makes cleaning up more of a hassle and I mess when I am expecting more solid poop.
