Much like the previous time this happened, our server ran out of disk space today, and I've had to implement a few probably-temporary measures designed to ensure we don't run out of disk space again, while I work on a more permanent solution.
As of right now, those measures are:
- uploaded attachments are now capped at 1,000 KB, instead of the previous 25,000 KB
- many large uploads of attachments in conversations have been deleted
If this isn't enough, then we'll start going further (like ceasing to allow any attachments in conversations). But for the moment, this is what we're doing to ensure the server doesn't reach 100% disk usage.
